Some neighbourhoods are better than others, for doing parkour. I haven't thoroughly examined every single nook and cranny of the whole region but these are generally the most commonly recognized areas to train parkour in the streets.

1. University of British Columbia, Vancouver

From the Botanical Garden to Tower Beach, there are lots of urban challenges scattered throughout the campus and surrounding area, including the Point Grey Battery and different features by the AMS Student Nest. It's a good area to explore and practice a variety of different jumps. It's proximity to the beach and other amenities makes it a great place to spend the day.

2. Simon Fraser University, Burnaby Mountain

Northeast of the fitness track, there is classic S-shaped access ramp that parkour athletes consider the main spot. It's features vaults and walls of different sizes which make it a perfect spot for training. You can also find other features North of the Academic Quadrangle and throughout the campus. You can park by the lookout for free, if you don't mind a short hike. The campus is surrounded by forest on top of a little mountain, which sometimes peaks out of the clouds.

3. North False Creek, Vancouver

George Wainborn Park and David Lam Park both have large water fountains framed by blocky concrete structures, alongside sprawling grassy fields. The Wainborn fountain is more cinematic, but it can feel like you're putting on a bit of a show there. The Lam fountain is older and more worn down, so it stays dry year-round, but it's more parkour-friendly for that reason.

Despite technically being in separate districts, both parks are only a block away from each other. This "Bridge District", consisting of Marine and Beach District, has some other interesting features along the seawall and makes it a great place to explore.

4. South False Creek, Vancouver

Leg in Boot Square features a lonely brick barrier beside a open public square but if you walk southbound down the road there, you will find a nice selection of additional vaults and walls. This is the best spots for street training in this district but you can journey westbound towards Olympic Village for some additional challenges.

5. Coal Harbour, Downtown Vancouver

There’s a nice S-shaped access ramp, between Coal Harbour Park and the seawall, that’s perfect for practicing vaults, jumps, and climb-ups. This area can get busy on sunny weekends, but that also makes it a fun place to train and hang out.

This neighbourhood also offers plenty to explore. If it gets too hot, Marina Square has some fun water features and a bit of shade. If it starts to rain, head down Melville Street and look for the covered spots.

Honourable Mention: Metrotown, Burnaby

This is a fun little urban jungle, despite some areas feeling like a zoo. Dolphin Plaza has a number of little challenges and there are some nice vaults near the parking garage entrance north of the mall. The proximity to Central Park in convenient if you want to explore a large park that has pull-up bars alongside nature trails.

Honestly there are great places to train everywhere. Let me know if I'm forgetting anything obvious.
